I checked out several graphic engines like Sauerbraten, Irrlicht and others and finally I came across Ogre3D! I think it is the best one for this project. There are several points which convinced me to use Ogre3D. Many graphic engine are well suited for one purpose like FPS. Ogre3D is a very generic engine and you can use it for any purpose. It is very well documented, and it works quite well with OIS. This seems a good combination. A nice example is Funguloids. For sound i will use OpenAL.

And of course, I will use the Boost Library. Boost just rocks!!!
And yes, still brainstorming...
